biography > works > exhibitions > press

Pavla Dundálková was born in 1990. Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague (2012–2017). She lives and works in Prague.

Her work has been exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions including Center for Contemporary Arts Prague, CZ (2024) and National Gallery Prague, CZ (2017).

Her work is firmly anchored in sculpture, but she explores its potential through performative approaches and video too. Dundálková often constructs complex architecture for her installations, excels in fusing the intimacy of a lived-in space and its everyday objects, at the same time imbuing them with immense monumentality.
